Hmmm, i probably gave mine the worst run in possible then, I bought it in sydney and had to drive back to South australia so from about 500km on the clock it was sitting at 120km into a head wind for about 2000km.

I was going to ask about the HID conversion for the spotties.. Can you recehck that link ? I can't get to it.

I filled up the tank yesterday, and the gauge went slightly over the Full notch.

I know everyone will laugh at this .. but the missues found it helarious when I was looking for the fuel tank latch in the dark.. had to turn on the map lights

Take your car to which ever service centre you want, doesn't have to be the dealer you bought it from. Your warranty is still covered provided the service centre is endorsed by the local association, in Vic it's VACC. My last Nissan had the first two services at a local dealer, different to the one I purchased it from. On the second service they missed a wheel issue so I went to a private trusted mechanic for the rest of the warranty, he knows his diesels and 4WD's. Never had an issue.
My nephew regularly had his Navarra serviced by the dealer he purchased it new from, had a major issue and they didn't cover it under warranty $8000 out of pocket. Said it was user error and driven in 4WD on sealed roads, which he naturally denied but how do you prove it.
    Cheers

Sorry, should have made that clear. You can get your service done at a non Nissan dealer workshop (provided they are certified/endorsed - best to check). Any warranty items have to go back to Nissan.
    Cheers

    Ah cool,

I thought as much, definitely keen not to get services done at the nearest dealer, apart from the stupendous prices for something as simple as an oil change, Quoted close to $300 for 10,00km service WTF. How do i find out if they are endorsed???

    cheers,

    tim

    Hi Tim,

Best to ask your mechanic if they do services and will it void your warranty, in VIC they need to be VACC members (but check first).
The Nissan dealer has capped price servicing here, here's a list of the charges for 3.0L Manual (probably more for the Auto but not listed)

    It's on the Nissan website

    Cheers

Great looking 4by too, please put no drill policy on it
