I'd go larger, as long as it fits with your suspension set up, an inch more diff clearance makes a huge difference off road. I've had 3 sets of BFGs ATs and on two different trucks (Navara and GU) and couldn't fault them. However i've gone for the Mickey t's 4 rib on the new Patrol and they are, so far, very good. they are a bit noisy compared to the BFGs but they are more aggressive so that's to be expected. I think either way you'd be fine.
