I get around 14l/100km in my guiv 4.2td with 33" 2", llift, steel rear bar, steel front bar and winch and about 100kg in back of the wagon. Had mild tune and running 3" exhaust. My bother with the same vehicle, weight, tyres and lift gets 15.5l/100km.

2011 3.0 CRD, 20k on clock. Steel bar & winch, rear drawers, fridge, 2" lift, std tyres.

Fully loaded with kids, camping/recovery gear, food & towing camper trailer = 15.5l/100km with cruise control at 95km/hr. Up to 19l/100 if punching it up to 120km/hr (NT roads of course).

Around town & unloaded (still has drawers & fridge in) - 13.5l/100.

Hoping for better figures than that with a few more km & some exhaust mods.

Our 45 petrol/lpg runs around town for .18c per k and .16c per k highway driving.
These costs are for LPG not petrol.
    Cheers

2005, 4.2 TDi, 229k's on the clock Ex Telstra ute with a pod on the back.

Fuel consumption increases when I drive it like I stole it. PML. I'm just starting to monitor fuel consumption and so far, it's just been just under 15l per 100ks.

This varies if the road is wet and if I'm driving on gravel roads (mostly drive in H4), and how much crap I carry in the pod. I've got 'cheesecutters', to motor me along.

Truck weight includes: me, a Steel bull bar, winch, spotties, HF auto tune aerial, 2 x spare tyres, full recovery gear, 95lt Evakool fridge/freezer, 20lts of fresh water and tools.

Pod sticks out about 6" alll round and acts like an anchor in a head wind and the truck handles like a wobby tissue box in a cross wind. lol

    I love my truck.

    Take care out there.

1992 GQ TB42E wagon, manual. Dual fuel and these figures are for LPG.

Averaging 24.17L/100km, had it as low as 22.14 and as high as 30.88. It has gone down a little since switching to smaller tyres. I reckon I could get it down to 20 if I did only highway driving, I'm going up to Lakes Entrance soon so I will try that out.

Kristoffa is an 18yo 'P' plater. What sort of fuel consumption were you expecting him to get? PML

He will be getting better fuel economy as he gets older. lol

I'm too scared to accurately work it out...... I'm looking at around 28 litres per hundred ks on petrol when driving it as softly as I can! If I drive normally, it would be over 30/ hundred I reckon. TB42, 33s, 2 inch lift, alloy bar, auto

    Tap, crackle, pop
