Can't help mate, but I can honestly say that the seatbelts in this thing really (annoy) me off.
The belts in my XF ute were heaps better than these pieces of shite.
Constantly caught in the door, getting caught in the door mech......I have cleaned em, lubed em, and still the same....they do NOT retract.
Should be fun in a crash....

I would by OEM and replace them, but I understand new ones are just as shiteful.
There has to be an aftermarket replacement...better get off my clacker and find one.
Any suggestions from the more informed?

I heard Nissan have a fix kit ,but it's just a piece of plastic you put on the plastic guide, we all have un road worthy trucks thanks to Nissan,
Maybe I'll swing past a Dealer and ask for a replacement for free, if he say no we'll organise a convoy of GUs . Then see what they say

    I replaced mine last week.

    Got them from sales@seatsafe.com.au

The were $325 a pair delivered. The first one took me about an hour to install and the second one (once I worked out what to do) took about 15 minutes.

They work great. It would be a waste of time getting some from a wreck. Also one from another vehicle may not pass ADRs. The safe seat ones do.

Do they retract better? Is it a failure of the Nissan return springs ot a pillar design fault?

Don't get me wrong....325 bucks is bugger all for seatbelts that work properly.....just annoyed OEM are known for failure.
