gonna be finishing my roll bar this weekend with some down bars but am unsure of which way to go about it.
either 45 to 0 or just 45 the entire way.

45 to 0 has a more appealing look about it if that is what your asking.
Yeah looking for looks I think. unless it makes it weaker?

I’d go the 45 triangles are always stronger that’s why you don’t see role cages made of square bracing unless you just want it to look good.

Well I made a decision and started fabricating it on the weekend

The top drawing is better, you can't bend a triangle. top drawing has weak point at the bend. Triangles are the go, even cross on the head board
04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
haven't painted it yet
but needed it on so i can mount my spotlights for a trip this weekend

Looks good. Can I ask why you decided to put all the bars onto it?
