Damn! Sorry Roofy, i got your pm the other week and had a chuckle with the missus but did not post a reply., I think i was reading it on my phone and never got back to you.

It is really easy and you dont need any special cream. Full Cream Cream is the go, no light stuff.

Whip man Whip!!! Cream becomes whipped cream and then becomes butter. If Mrs Roofy is getting whipped cream when trying then she is half way there.

We have a Thermomix which is a Wiz Bang machine that pumps it out. Our Thermomix spins beyond 10,000Rpm and a blender is at about 800rpm so hard to compare.

Here is a recipe without a thermomix

    Home Made Butter

I have just read through the recipe there. After you have washed the butter then add about 40gms of Macadamia oil to help it stay spreadable. Otherwise it will set quite hard in the fridge like any good real butter.

Also, dont worry about the sieve, just wash it a few times and squeeze out the water, very odd the first time you do this but it is that simple.

We have not bought butter in over a year and love it.

Here is the Thermomix way and you will see by the notes on each photo that it is dead easy. Check it out Here for Thermomix Butter

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.
