i will have to find a new airbox as i can't use the pizza box one cause i bought a small intercooler for 25 bucks on evilbay. Might be a sidemount for a skyline but i'm sure i will make it fit, i won lots of grinders and a few welders. ZD30 airboxes are hard to find up my way, any other ideas? I have read something about the vn commodore boxes, i can get a whole vn como for the same price as a ZD30 airbox, I guess there isn't much you can't do with thin steel, rivets, zipties and sikaflex.

I bought the zd30 airbox from central coast 4x4 wreckers was under $150 delivered

Or you could just put what your after into findapart.com.au that's how i found them in the first place

PatrolDocta has airboxes available on ebay .. but they are very expensive.

Hmmm. i will have to see what fits where when i get home. I just bought the same turbo and manifold as mentioned in the start of the thread and will be doing the install in 2 weeks.

Compensators are near tuned out of the equation by most tuners as with a diesel you need fuel to make the heat to then make boost so the sooner you can get fuel in the sooner you will have boost and the sooner you have power and torque. Obviously all within reason so your egt's arent getting extreme.

How does ZD30 airbox fit around the AC pipes? I can't see your AC pipes in this img.

Looks like that pic was taken before i had the aircon pipe made up as it was converted from the rd28 the pipe from the condensor was different and i got one made it basically goes between the radiator and the airbox.
