    V8

    just wanting to know if anyone knows that is, what type of v8 engine would fit straight into my Tb42 wagon 1992 model GQ> Also if any mods need to be made

    LS1 has been the most covered and probably the cheapest way. A mate of mine did his in his back yard however he is a qualified mech. You could source a motor and box relatively cheap then you only need what adaptors you will require from marks rather than the whole lot from him.

    2 Guys in our club have put a GM V8 in a Patrol.
    They are both Autos, the one using the Nissan box is a PITA, it works but is not so good.
    The other has the engine and box transplant, he has done some revalving of the box and it talks to the engine via the computer so is a lot better.
    They dont appear to be a seamless install though, but man do they mumbo and sound like real V8's.
