    GU bumper on a GQ

    Hello all, does anyone know if a bumper made for a GU will fit on my 89 patrol

    I have asked the same question and i think the general answer is no unfortunately. Ive been told that the chassis rails are slightly different and also the body of a GU is wider.
    Im on the lookout for a GQ bar but keep coming across cheap GU ones.

    that's a bit of a bugger, oh well i'll stick with me Gq bumper for now

    all depends on how much you want to muck around with bracketry etc. I had a genuine GU steel bull bar that I modified to suit my old MK Triton, when I sold the Triton I modified it again to suit my GQ...
    hmm superflex & dobisons....
