Thanks Paul.
That looks like a series 4 Nissan alloy bar on a series one GU. We've had one or two questions about fitting winches to Nissan alloy bars so some close up photos of the bar and winch mounting frame when you can would be appreciated.

Very nice there Paul, just one thing when posting photos it is a good idea to blank out the number plates for security reasons.

We are planning a national gathering in 2012 (there is a thread for that somewhere), but locally we are starting to organize more frequent trips and events. The Victorians had a gathering this week end.
Have a look at the members map and see who else is in your area, then start a thread in the trip section to raise interest in doing a trip, maybe suggest a few locations. Unfortunately a lot of people are a bit backward in coming forwards to organize and lead these trips, so it might be up to you to take the lead role. If you have never done anything like this before just start simple, a single day social trip. Once you've met a few like minded people things will get a lot easier. I think you will find the majority of people on this forum will be family orientated.
Sorry to hear about your job situation, never good but even worse this close to Christmas. I hope you find something else soon.
Were you involved with the Tugen desal. plant?
