    MAF sensor and excessive smoke

    G'day all,

After any info out there regarding maf sensors and excessive grey/white smoke, I just put a new sensor on my 2.8 and now it blows more smoke then ever, is this common and will the computer eventually recognise the new sensor or should I just put the old one back in and live with a small amount of smoke. Anyone know a test procedure for maf sensors

    Thanks in advance

Problem solved, wrong model number supplied, although right part number, on the upside cleaned old MAF sensor and refitted now have bugger all smoke. All good
