Well I'm not going to be entering truck racing events like the King of the Hammer event as it looks like a great way to destroy your truck... It will be more made for just a bit more fun off road and a squirt on the black top every not and then. I want to keep it as capable as a daily as possible but mostly a weekend worrier.

I didn't know a gear reduction was in the Transfer case, what would be the difference between changing the diffs compared to the transfer case? Is the transfer case reduction only when you put it in "Low reduction"? As far as I know the diffs that are in it at the mo are the tallest ones that the patrol came with, I think I will need to lower the ratio of the diffs anyways if I get 40's because it's slow enough as it is, I haven't ever used 5th gear...
