    Hay Bigrig.

Came across these, good price and would really make the your old girl sing a new tune.
    Ebay stainless header. $521 + $134 freight.
Most of this stuff is usually 2 to 2.5mm max these are 3mm thick pipe.
    claims fit tb/d42 and tb45.
Think I may just have to buy 1 myself.
    Item 300665637956.

They look a bit trick ... thanks mate!! Looks like the turbo mount sits out a bit further than the standard TD42 manifold I'm using ... would love to see a set fitted (yep, don't want to be the guinea pig!!! lmao).

Do ya find any run-on with the new turbo setup?.
Takes a while for engine braking effect to assist slowing vehicle when you lift off the go peddle.
    Not necessarily a bad thing.
Means less lag when you stomp back on go peddle.
But at same time less "instant" brake effect.
Turbo still supplying enough air to inlet manifold to prevent inlet vacume causing engine brake.
Another reason/effect turbo's have in freeing up an engine to spin when you want it to go.
Wondering what you have now, so I can figure this into my build while sorting mine.
That stainless manifold I just showed you probably helps creates more run-on compared to a std TD42 manifold.
Not preaching to ya, just trying to figure and maybe help others understand a turbo set-up.
    Cheers

Not sure on the "run on" effect truth be told mate, but getting the new electronic boost controller put on as I type this, so will take note when I get it back.

Appreciate the thoughts and comments - definitely keep em coming!

Just because it was its first 'real' outing since all the work has been completed (well, nearly completed!! lol).

Ran like a dream except for not starting on command!!! Ignition barrel has had it me thinks ... Other than that, power to burn and would take a mortician to get the smile off my face if I happened to kark it whilst out on Sunday!!!

    Saves on a coffin!!! lmao

How cool would that be?? I'd be dead of course, so I wouldn't know just how cool, but even so!!!!! lol

Wonder how much a 'Patrol sized' burial lot would cost ... I'd have to go that path, as I've never seen a furnace big enough to fit one!!!
