    Well, as fate would have it, doesn't go to dyno now till tomorrow. Oh well ...

    Side note, they took it for a blot and although it was throwing out 18lbs of boost (and not pinging!!! It'll be wound back though), the comment was something like this :

    "was doing about 50klm per hour in third gear just cruising. Put the foot into it about half throttle and it dropped back to 2nd, would up to 18lb of boost and the tyre nearly lost traction trying to accelerate (33x12.5 bighorns!!)."

    And that's without proper tuning!!! I asked should I be expecting 200+ kw's at the rear wheels and the answer was a a conservative "yeah, reckon so".

    I wouldn't get that from a V8 and I've spent about half what I was quoted to get an LS2 put in ...

    Very excited!!

    Oh, and the fuel overcut on the injectors is working also - essentially stops fuel injection when off the throttle. Little fuel saver, but I reckon it's all going to count!! lol. Taking it for a run this weekend up to Bribie towing the trailer so should be a good test for consumption up the freeway and on sand. Will post that up after ... if I get it back for the weekend of course!!! lmao

    Somehow I don't think it's going to spend much time with the throttle closed.

    Haha ... no mate, not looking to hang out at Harry's Diner and do but outs - comforting to know though that towing the trailer won't mean revving the @rse out of the engine.

    And don't forget, I still have to stop for red lights!!!!! lmao!!!!

    Yes but every red light means another chance to feel that turbo power!

    It will be interesting to see the fuel economy in normal driving/touring, to test the theory that having extra power means the engine doesn't have to work as hard so should be more economical.

    Haha - true!!!!!

    Yep, interested in that one (for obvious reason) myself, but Clint did say he reckons around 15lph on the open road is about the mark I'd be going for ... if its around that, I'm a happy man.

    Not to mention the ability to keep the TC locked up now with the switch, so no dropping back a cog for small hills etc
