Well put in for leave today so when it's approved I'll confirm with a vote in the affirmative. Amazing work you've done scotty this is certainly gonna be an amazing trip! And AB you are the mover and shaker of the forum world mate! Absolutely unbelievable your string pulling skills are.

At this very early stage my plan is to leave on Saturday 29th September and arrive Monday 1st October. A week at the park doing day trips then I'd like to head up to Fraser Island for some beach driving, fishing, R&R. Been up on the bike back in the 90's but looking forward to the ease and comfort of doing it in the trol this time.

Starting to get excited fellas! How many sleeps left??

What was your plan with Monday arrival?

Stopping south of Sydney first on Saturday afternoon?

I would be keen to convoy up if your happy with that. I can give you my daughter and the baby seat for some company for a few hours too...LMAO

Funny stuff, thats exactly what my misses said. We have to buy one of those portable DVD players with the wiggles on repeat for 21 hours straight.

I have done that trip before, Brisbane to Melbourne with the Wiggles playing the whole time (well what seemed the whole time).

It wasn't a DVD player back then, but a CD.

I can tell you, I am now all Wiggled out.

If fact, when I hear a Wiggles song, I have this strong desire to start smashing my head against a wall.

At this stage I haven't thought about where I'll be stopping along the way, but wasn't planning on boiling my billy getting there. Just cruise up and arrive happy and rested, not burnt out and shagged. I'll have a look at the maps and check it out but I'll be looking at bush camping along the way, not moteling it. Your family may not be into that I presume?

I will be taking the camper I think mate so bushing it up indeed to save $$$. We'll chat more about it later.

Pretty much 100% for me Scottie, just need 2 work out how long its going 2 take 2 get there and then I shall put in for hols might drive the toyota up though as its more economical.
