Right - obviously would be what everyone wants as said earlier (definitely with a bit of Slim Dusty, John Williamson and more than likely, Kevin Bloody Wilson also) ... but something like this below, very wide mix which will no doubt get modified heavily etc, etc as everyone starts adding songs etc - please note, the VAST majority of the music below is not 'my cup of tea' as it were, but was trying to make sure we all got the idea ... thoughts?? Sorry for the formatting - best I could do ... but you get the idea ... happy for someone else to 'own' this by the way - just made the offer the other day, so figured I be a good boy and start something ...

Thanks old mate - this should be one of the easier things to sort I reckon ... not everyone is going to get just want they want, but it's background stuff anyway, and I figured if we stick to mainstream, old and new, nothing to extreme at any end (i.e. techno, metal, classical, etc) with songs that 'most' people would have at least heard at some stage, then we should have a bunch of happy campers ... hopefullly!!! LOL ... this happens at my old man's joint when he throws on Lou Rowles, or Mickey Gilley, or Neil Diamond, or the Mamas and the Papas, etc and whilst I don't particularly like the music as such, I often find myself singing along quietly to it ... I'll never admit that to the old boy though ... it's like when you're a kid and your mum gives you a ham sandwich - when she asks 'how is it', just a simple, "yep, good mum" with not too much enthusiasm is what's required ... otherwise you'll end up with ham sangers for school lunch every day for 3 weeks because she doesn't understand the difference between you actually liking something, and just being polite ... not that I have issues of course!! LOL

Sorry, no can do ... I'm obviously not the man for the job as I'm placing too many restrictions on the artist selection ... I suggest we get someone who wears pink tutu's and stands on top of a penis float at the annual mardi gras yelling "I just ant some respect people" to do it from here on in ... should be plenty of enya and kylie minogue from that point forward!! LOLOLOL. Can't wait to see this person at the meet up either when they show up in their heavily modified, pink, lifted VW beetle, with dual lockers and the flower emblem on the front!!!

Well AB, believe it or not mate but I have a CD of Enya's Grestest Hits and I quite like it, just got to be in the right mood to listen to it.

Being a teenage hoon coming home at 5am every weekend my mum used to wake up at 7am, crank ABBA and Enya whilst deliberatly knocking the vaccum cleaner against my bedroom door at sparrows to punish me for being out all night.

I get shivers up my spine when I hear Enya or ABBA now...lol
