If you have undone all the screws on the base, open the laptop lid and on the keyboard some laptops have little clip slots that run along the top, I think there are 4 or so. slide them backwards and the keyboard should lift out giving you access to the inside. This may not be the case on your model though, just food for thought.

Please be careful with your laptop.
I'm ex IT worker so I saw a lot cases of vandalism over laptops, printers, PC and etc.
Please, in case if you want to DIY your computer, ask google first for disassemble manuals.

yeh it died a nasty death, I advise you 2 remove it, you may think you have know issues until one day you find your bank account empty.

I don't have that problem as they can't steal whats not there *L*
