You need to be carefull with what you fit. Its no good fitting something unless its legal. If you have an accident and claim on your insurance they will someone out to check your vehicle out and if is not roadworthy due to some modification, they will not pay out. Then again what about the safety to your family.
I don't believe you will need to extend the brake lines. To check after fitment jack up the one side so that the wheel hangs down and look at the brake line to see if it is stretched.
