Using a PC mate, Windows 7. I found the problem anyway. I had installed an extension into FF called PDF downloader or some crap, disabled this and its all working fine now. I think I put the extension in there during the early days of firefox but it doesn't need it anymore as there is in built support for pdf's obviously. Yes IE is absolute crap, can't stand it and it pained me to use it for those couple of seconds to get the download.
Useless fact...
Only 46% of forum visitors use IE now. Just under a year ago it was more like 65-70% so people are seeing the light!

Yeah I've been using Firefox since the original beta version was released and haven't looked back. I figured it would be something simple and it was. I'd say the extension was probably incompatible with the latest version of ff or something.

The addons & plugins can take a while to catch up sometimes after FF has a big update which it has had recently.
Just joined to get some info on fitting the Marks adapter gears to the Nissan transfer in our Oka.
