Holidays, what are they mate............finish work on Friday night and back to work on Wednesday, and just to top it off I do not get paid for the Public Holidays.

The reason I am not getting paid for the public holidays is that the end of my probation time is not until the 4th of Jan................bloody probation, probably better of in jail...LOL

Yeah, some work places have a probation period of 3 months before you are full time, before that time period is up you do not get any annual leave, sick leave, paid public holidays and of course you do get a lower pay rate.
If things do not improve after the 4th of January I will be out of there.
