Hello Michelle..I just got connected and came across this restoration thread...your MQ is coming very nicely..I just got the same MQ but still in a poor state..I'm amazed at he speed you are restoring it..Can't wait to see more pics of your restoration to the end..may be by then I'll give me a kickstart to follow...

Well Things have come to a bit of a stand still with christmas just aroun the corner, but I did get over to Bendigo on the weekend to my brothers, where the parts car is and we striped off any thing I didnt have or that was in better cond than mine, decided that the bonnet was better than mine so we ripped that off, the doors had same rust to mine, pulled out an air con just dont ave a copresser for it yet but maybe down the track I'll pick one up, got some interior parts and a few rubbers that looked in no to bad cond.
So not a bad weekend oh and drank plenty of beer lol
Beer is the most important ingredient of any resto from house to car well done:-)

Does anyone know the color code and name to my smurf blue trol my compliance plate with those detailes is a little hard to read, or any thing close to that Cheers
