    home made body lift

could i make a homemade body lift by cutting up a nylon pole and drilling holes through it. os that abit dodgy. it's just that the body lift kits seem so expensive for what they are.

Yes you can, lots of the kits are nylon anyway, they need to be 75mm minimum diameter tho.
75 mm nylon shaft does cost a bit too, depending on the grade.
Then you need to replace all the bolts for longer ones.
If you go to a turning shop, they often have off cuts of acetal or nylon, that's where I get mine but I also have a lathe.
    Cheers, the ferret.

Boat rubbers? Can you give a bit more information? I am not sure what you are speaking of but I am interested to see if I can find something the same here in Canada for a 1" body lift.

The only good thing about an 80 series is..... the front end?? Wrong!!, the Engine?? Wrong!! the Full Time 4WD system?? Wrong!! Its the NissanPatrol.com.au stubby holder fitted over the transfer lever.

So just take a straight roller and cut it down to the height I need? Sounds like a very good idea. Thanks again.
