Cigarette Lighter Sockets

Thanks for that. Could you tell me approximately where those other two sockets are?

Right. Well, one is on the centre dash, opposite side of the sub tank and demister buttons. The second is at the bottom of the center dash, (gray area in front of the gear stick)
The third is a 12 volt socket in the back left of the boot. This one is not after market. Im sure of it. At the most, is was an added option when the car was ordered.

OK, thank you for the reply and it explains why I don't have a second socket in the front because maybe the previous owner had the circuitry for a second battery installed instead. I'd say that this is the way I'll have to go. As far as the one in the back of your DX goes, I would also have expected one there but can't find it. You don't have a couple of pix by any chance? I am hoping that if there was a second battery in the Patrol that the wiring is still there - one can only hope.
