    certainly made a difference het Nick!!!???.................... so any thought of doing the rears as well, or just leaving as is??

    The rears are already 2" TJM gear about 60,000klms old. But having a look at it today i think I'm gunna have to get them done as well

    Chip Express Power module has been posted to the wrong address

    My Chip Express Diesel Power module arrived today.............YAY me. Not sure it'll go in this weekend but it will definitely be in next weekend. I'm hoping for a touch more power and hopefully once I get used to the power and stop flogging it it will improve my consumption

    Speaking of fuel consumption I have really only be averaging no better than 14.5l per 100klms. This tank though, I'm only doing a top speed of 90kmh so we'll see what result that gets me

    Are you getting dyno results for before and after? Be interesting to see what you get out of it (hopefully plenty more berries without sacrificing fuel). Good luck boss!!

    I'm looking for some dyno time but not too sure I can get it without having to pay full market rate, so probably not. All teh spare cash i got at teh moomnet is going into my camper trailer. But you never know, if I can get some cheap dyno time I will

    Fully understood mate and good thinking ... better to know you have a camper trailer than to know how many more kw's you're getting ... hopefully it'll be fairly noticeable power which is all you really need to know ...

    Did another fuel consumption test. This time the same driving style and same PSI but limited my top speed to 90km/h. Did 550klms on 75.97L which is 13.81 L/100klms - this is a figure I'm more happy with.
    Was weird not doing the speed limit at points but I suppose if I'm on holidays and touring I will be in no rush to get anywhere so chugging along at that pace will extend my range a bit
    Next test will be when the diesel chip (and later the exhaust mod) goes in it - should be interesting

    I ordered some 2degree caster bushes for the radius arms - I decided to go rubber. This was due to the front axle being rotated forward. Hopefully they will stop it wandering and skipping around in off directions

    Plus I'm also, thanks to the NSW teachers strike, going to ring the exhaust place and see if they can fit me in tomorrow and take out the middle muffler and replace it with pipe

    Installed the Chip-Express Power Module this morning and boy has it made a a difference!!!!!

    Doesn't seem to be shedloads lot of extra power, just the the lil extra power it has is more useful and easier to get to. Third gear is now good for corners around town, and 5th gear I can actually overtake in.

    I've left it in tune 1 and I'll do a fuel consumption test. There are three other more aggressive tunes available.

    Apart from the extra power I have notice a poofteenth more soot from the exhaust. Will keep my eye on that to see if it gets any worse.

    I'll put some pics of the install up later on. It was pretty easy - well it must be if I can do it.
