Yeah, we had a good introduction to circle work. This was our "first" Ekka. We went off to the main arena for entertainment from 6pm. WOW. Did I say "WOW". There were some serious petrol heads in utes (even though they were hiluxes) . . . OMG . . . Have you ever seen synchronised swimming before???? This was synchronised driving. Pretty ama2ing stuff (not as ama2ing as us passing a bag of chips to our friends on the way home from last weekend's camp (scenic rim). Anyhoo, they DID IT in reverse ! Can you believe it? I thought the entertainment was pretty good. Then they brought out some John Deere stuff. Then they brought out SAMSON. OMMMMMMMMG. This is a serious american monster truck. He flattened 4, 5, maybe 6 cars? Bring on the enteraintment. Then they brought out some horse riders doing camp drafting which was simply ama2ing. THEN they brought out the daredevils from hell. OMG (sorry for the repetition) but OOOOMMMMGGG. These guys were nuts. The holy grail consisted of getting off to a flying start . . . up an extremely steep ramp . . . wait for it . . . . flying in mid air hanging on to the bike (by the handle bars) . . . then letting go and grabbing on just in time to land. OMG. Nipper's face was one of utter disbelief. All this was topped off by fantastic fireworks. I know I am a bit over the top . . . My apologies.
