Hi all Today I did a oil change on gear box and diffs
Ok manual gearbox all good 3.8 to 4 Ls transfer case all good 1.9 to 2 Ls
The rear diff said 4.7 L But when filling it onyl took around 2.3 liters WHY????
Front diff said 5.2l but only took around 4.4 l WHY????
Is the list wrong as i can t get any more oil in it a 3l 2003 patrol.
Plus today replace rocker cover here a pic of the throttle body not to bad but only had the car 8 months
Your rear diff is probably a H233b which has an oil capacity of 2.1 litres (4.7 litres for H260b). If you can post a photo of the rear diff looking from the rear of the car I can identify it for you.
Front diff I wouldn't be concerned about the difference.
Your throttle body is not unusual, the inlet ports will be the same.
Blocking the EGR and fitting a catch can will stop the build up reoccuring.
