    HID Xenon Kits?

    Hi All,

Has anyone carried out a HID / Xenon conversion on their Nissan Patrol GU 6?

    Please advise if so.

    Thanks.

I haven't converted the headlights but have changed my IPF spotties to 50W HID.
Well worth it in my opinion

I think someone here would have done it though

Here is a post I found on te exploreOz forum

It seems that in NSW you can make these modifications to your vehicle without requiring a permit or engineers cert.... cool...

In regards to the HID kits themselves, here are some links to suppliers:

    Invision - http://www.invisionsales.com/philips...storation.html

To answer some of the "Legalities" around such modifications, here are some links to the "Modification Guidelines" for all states:

Plenty around mate. Here's one on eBay for $91 from Newcastle
    http://cgi.ebay.com.au/55W-HID-KIT-H...#ht_1754wt_911

You could also pm Patch697, he was able to get some a while ago...not sure if that is still the case

If you're scared of the dark, give this bloke a try. He's known as Jet-6 on other forums.

    mailto:matt@thumpainc.com

He does a lot more than just HID kits. LED interior lights, LED worklights, LED and HID torches etc etc.

    Tony
