If you've never been to one of Scotty's BBQ's make the effort and come along. You'll meet some great people and split your sides laughing, these get togethers are not to be missed.

Just have a question for you Scotty about your Crawler Gears.
I have a Mate with a GQ and Auto Gearbox and on the Very Steep Hills in the Vic High Country we come down in Low 4WD using the Engine Back Pressure as a Brake however the Mates Gq does not cut it in that situation and he has to stop every now and then to cool his Brakes.
My question is with the Crawler Gears can you use them as a brake on Steep Hills ??
Sure can mate - the autos tend to run away down hill, and hence you rely on the brake (not ideal especially if slippery as you want the wheels to roll and maintain traction). The reduction gears are incredible and allow you to traverse steep descents without relying heavily on the brake - I can now easily do 45 degree and greater descents in 4L first gear and literally not touch the brake and probably aren't cracking 4 klms per hour ...
The single best investment I've put into the rig ...
Sliders go on the week after next ... No LED lamps on them I'm afraid, but am getting some strips for front and rear indicators on the bars.
