Haha ... agreed, music at camping is a background 'thing' ... prefer the crackling of a good fire myself ...

I have found when loud music is played that conversations normally stop.

Especially with such a large group and a roaring fire you will have to have the music so loud just to be able to hear it.

Exactly my thoughts Kris, the longer you sit around a campfire with a few drinks had by everyone the more intelligent the conversations get, would hate to miss any of the words of wisdom.
