I have a dilemma!!!! Which way to go!!!

Dhuck, Hempo another mate coming, and myself want to do an "All Aussie Adventure" trip {Russell Coight style}, but the girls want to site see. So what's your thoughts - option 1 or option 2. Don't worry about the stopovers, just the tour route itself ....

Brisbane to Loveday via central NSW [Walgett, Ivanhoe, Mildura, Loveday]
Loveday to Port Augusta
Port Augusta to Coober Pedy
Coober Pedy to Oodnadatta
Oodnadatta to Yulara
Yulara to Kings Canyon
Kings Canyon to Alice Springs
Alice Springs to Tobermorey [via the Plenty Highway]
Tobermorey to Bedourie
Bedourie to Windorah
Windorah to Mitchell
Mitchell to Brisbane

Positives - get to see Ayres Rock and Kings Canyon [again for me]. Negatives - lots of bitumen. Trip distance 7,183 klms.

Option 2 [the right choice ... lol]
Brisbane to Loveday via northern NSW/western SA [Walgett, Bourke, Malparinka, Cameron Corner, the Strzelecki Track!!, Lyndhurst]
Loveday to Port Augusta
Port Augusta to Coober Pedy
Coober Pedy to Oodnadatta
Oodnadatta to William Creek [via the Oodnadatta Track!!!]
William Creek to Marree [via the Oodnadatta Track!!!]
Maree to Birdsville [via the Birdsville Track!!!]
Birsdville to Longreach

Either Trip would be Good Scotty. I should Join up at Loveday and do the rest of the Trip with You and then come Home via the Coast.

That's right!!! I'm on the hooley and thinking about all things travel around this big brown land ... and what better to remind everyone of than the forum meetup next year!! I hope you're all putting away the pennies and planning on being there ... I'm half cut and fully excited at the prospect - everyone bar none that I've met from the forum is top dollar, big spin so this should be an absolute corker!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I get there and the park is empty ... well ... apart from being disappointed at not meeting you, it'll mean dhuck and I are getting putrid by ourselves beside a big campfire ... and we could do that in my back yard!!! So get cracking people ... only 10 months to go!!!!!!!
