Planning a desert trip for later in the year.

Vehicles's 5 years old done 140,000, sits on 88-89 mostly, seen it go up to 92 on a hot day.

Anyway, what do I need to get done to have the cooling system serviced? Is it something I could I do with some new magical potion that's come out in the past 10 years or should I get it done by someone who knows what they're doing?

Can a regular run of the mill mechanic do it or am I better off going to a radiator joint???
