I might just hold off on swapping out my hid globes to these based on what you found. I reckon my hid' are great, just as illegal in vic as LEDs, - what did you change from , halogens? I have the globes sitting there to swap, but still not convinced. I run led light bars for high beam and they are great, running them at 28v, so just about nameplate output.

Upgraded from halogen. I like the color output from the LED's, nice & bright especially when coming down from high beam, halogens seemed a bit dull after the brightness of the LED driving lights. Only bought cheap ones of eBay, a better brand might put out a bit more light on high.
