Bent up Sill

I dont want to stuff my slide hammer up for future use, what if I were to weld nuts to the sill and screw the hammer into them to do the pulling, then just break the nuts off when finished?

It would work - as it is all about improvising, but you would have a fair bit of grinding/cleaning up to do with this method.
