Just want to share my experience with Ironman 4x4.
I bought a roofrack about 7 months ago and since then I have been getting rust stains on my 4wd.
The other day I had a look and the tube that its made of is full of water - hence rusting on the inside and leaking out of the factory bungs in the rack.
I emailed the supplier I bought it from in Wangara and he said I need to go to Kewdale to have them look at it - HANDBALL!!
I emailed Ironman and called and they say I have to go to Kewdale so they can sikaflex the holes in the rack closed. I asked what the point of that is and they said to stop the water getting in??????? Not sure how water can get in from the bottom, past the bungs and fill up the tube?? I asked this question and that was their only response (there is no other way water can get into the tubes).
I wasnt really happy about having to make an appointment (2 weeks from now) and having to travel to Kewdale but they said that the only way.
I really dont have time to get all the way there so I have simply sealed up the bungs myself, so time will now tell......
I would steer well clear of the ironman rubbish and will be recommending that everyone I know do the same.
I have pics attached of the mess this has made to my car (Im still trying to clean all the stains off).
