    i have been loading my own for about 45 years ( i was a nipper when i started ) before the comments come in
    Barns X bullets would have to be the best i have used they hardley loose any weight , on a average about 7 grains
    they are all copper with 4 driving bands unlike any other bullet you can gain up to 250 fps with the same load as std 180 grain
    they always expand in a very large cross for about i third of the projectile and flatten any thing they touch
    HELL NO !!!!!!

    So what else do you like playing with???

    between my brother & i we have 2x .17's bolts , 3x .22's bolts , 3x 12 gauges, 2x under over's & 1x side by side all twin triggers, 1x 223 bolt, 1x 22/250 bolt, 1x 243 bolt, 1x 30/30 leaver 2x 270's bolt, 1x 308 bolt & 1x30/06 bolt. We are petty much covered for all that we do.

    I was up my brothers last night & he was looking on the net at reload kits..... seenas your up with this can you recommend anything in particular?

    keeps me happy i used to shoot pro for a few years my choise was always .22/250 for light skinned
    and a .308 for all other .

    Never done pro but If I had to start again I'd go .17, .223, .270, 30/06 & an under over twin trigger 12 gauge. That would cover every thing I shoot.

    yeh nowoolies
    i use mainly RCBS presses , i have a few custom dies , but i really like the lee dies they give a very good and even finish to all rounds a must for accuracy
    ADI powders remmington 9 1/2 primmers for all but black powder, those i use federal magnum large rifle primers and for the small cases like the .223 i use remmingtom small rifle primers , i have a rcbs powder tickler , and Redding powder thrower , and a rcbs powder scales , my loading bench has as much as a gunshop hahahahahahaha
