I opted for a head unit without a GPS that way if it craps itself im not up for both every time somethings goes bang.

aint that bad compared with some of the others on the market
nearly fell off my chair at some of the installed prices hahaha

Nope that was a transfer that went horribly wrong & caused us to have to shut the forum down for the night until it could be corrected.

Yeah im hearing ya but just remember you get what you plat for with electronics these days & you would be better getting someone outside the supplier to fit it as some of them places can be dodgy as with there fitting.

Yeah im hearing ya but just remember you get what you plat for with electronics these days & you would be better getting someone outside the supplier to fit it as some of them places can be dodgy as with there fitting.

Yep & the worse part is, you get a good GPS in one but it sounds like sh!t & the that sounds quite good has a sh!t GPS. You just can't get the best of both worlds unless you spend big so hence I went the way I did.
