This type of three looses all the leaves and gets full of flowers this time of year. A nice reminder that there is more out there than tarmac and buildings.

I had the chance to go outdoors with the family and some very good friends to celebrate New Year in a State park that is full of beautiful waterfalls. Didn't take many pictures to be honest, was leaving the cellphone behind all the time, looking to enjoy the moment in full without worrying about things. But one of the waterfalls had such a huge change in just one day, that I was eager to show it to you.

This is the Tabuleiro waterfall, the highest in the state, the 3rd highest in the country, with 273m of freefall, comparable to a 91 store building using local metrics. On Jan 3rd, there was very little water due to a long period without rain. Water was almost spraying out before touching the base. Jan 4th it rained the whole day and night. On Jan 5th the waterfall was turned into a majestic water show.
