I'm new here — glad to join, though not entirely by choice, since I’ve got a bit of a problem.
A quick intro and what's going on with my car:
I drive a Nissan Qashqai J10 with the 1.5 K9K engine, and I’ve noticed the heater isn’t working as well as it should. Even when I set the temperature to 28–29°C, the air coming out isn’t really hot — just mildly warm.
I’ve tried adjusting the climate control settings and added a +2°C offset, which helped slightly, but it’s still far from what I’d expect at those temps.
I’m starting to wonder if it might be related to the engine running at a low temperature?
Would really appreciate any advice
