Yes mate the larger marine one.

I had 3 large sausage rolls in the oven in the morning at 130 degrees. I put them in at about 7:40 got to Broadford bout 9:30 and the sausage rolls were perfect to eat.
I took them out if the freezer last night and left them in the fridge so they would have been thawed also.
Put party pies in at 12:00 @130 degrees and were perfect for lunch at 1:00.

I did read your post prior so when we stopped I grabbed the trays an spun em around anyway.

Touching the bottom plate at the front by accident when spin tray around was bloody skin burning stuff.

I finally ran the Marine Oven after it sitting on the shelf in the garage for 3 yrs. I included the installation pics in the Optimiser 6500 thread, but decided to add the specifics of the oven in the cooking section.

I was base camped for 3 days at 1500m in minus 5 deg ambient temps , blizzard conditions at least by Aussie conditions, and used the oven 3 times to heat to perfection party pies, sausage rolls and full size pies and pasties. The oven was loaded up with food at maybe 2 degC temp and after 1.5 hrs ready to eat at hot as shit temps. I set the terminal temp at 180 degC , didnt monitor the actual amps draw, but can attest this oven is a winner.
I understand there are comparable ovens on the market that are Aust Made - unsure if this one is made in Aus or not, but the specs on the alternate seem comparable/better perhaps to the unit I have, but what I guess is the message is if the oven is a really good compliment to the camping experience and adds a next level to enjoyment and convenience. I found the outer skin of the oven was not hot or even warn to touch, so close quarter installation and mounting should not be a concern. I have upgraded the front door with additional insulation, as a precaution.

If it is the 'Marine' oven then almost certainly it is a Travel Buddy - and that brand is the only ones that is Australian made.
I agree that they are great. We have done roasts as well as all the usual pies/rolls/etc and never had an issue. So much better than the little black boxes which were all we had a while ago.
The upgraded door catch and door insulation are worthwhile improvements.
Not sure I believe all the stated specs on the Chinese ones but plenty of reviews around to help make a decision if you can believe them. I know which one I would choose.

It's no travel buddy, but I like my 12 oven. I've got an Anderson plug set up on it and one next to the handbrake so plug it in on the fly ready for everything from hot donuts, to pies even a roast ready for us on those late night arrivals..

Yep i love my one too John. So much i have two of them. The clam shell design is great as you don't have to worry about spillages, and once hot they cook pretty fast. I pulled mine apart and upgraded the wiring to 6mm, this made a huge difference to how fast it gets hot.
