Hey guys, been in a dog fight with death wobbles(with 35” tyres) for around 5 months at 80-90km.
Replaced radius arm bushes, panhard bushes,tie rod,drag link, tyres, rims, wheel bearings,king pin bearings. Was still shaking the car apart at 80!
Recently I removed the shims in the king pin bearing & that seems to have stopped the shake. But now my suspension in the front end feels very clunky???
We will deal with the death wobble in this incoming Patrol project. Not sure of the history as it was parked for about a year and just started running again last month and the owner is too scared of the death wobble. We will haul it this week once the alloy wheels and tires for the Ford Superduty are installed.
