    Interesting that you comment about clean drain plug. I always get that WTF feeling when I see videos of internet people servicing their cars (at home, I would add) covered in dry mud. Changing oils, installing lockers, refreshing bearings and hubs... I always wash my car, specially chassis and axles before braking anything open. Not talking about changing a CV in the bush; that would be running in "survival mode" and a true necessity.

    I even wash the car when taking it to a mechanic so the guy don't get dirt on his eyes when hitting a spanner on the chassis, LOL.

    But to your point, yeah, this is what I meant, oil that you have no suspicious about any contamination, off-course.
