Well had a big day today.

Woke up and had breakfast, the wife is very pregnant so i am on house duties. Get the breakfast organised. and this is how it went.

8:30am finish my breakfast and give the little fella (Zach) a hurry up to get dressed for school (Prep)

8:40 Wife finishes her breakfast and says she can feel a bit of pressure. "i might take a shower"

8:41 Wife calls out from the shower "today is the day"

8:44 i send Zach in to say good bye to Mum, tell her he loves her and i tell him to tell her to "Have a good day" He kisses belly and says good bye to his sister to be. We did not tell him what was going down.

8:45 leave to drop off Zach to school.

8:52 Arrive at the school with Zach. being a Preppy it is common to hang around for the bell and make sure they get into class.

8:55 get a call from Wife 'Get Home Now"

9:03 Arrive home. Wife in full contraction in lounge room. Grab a camera, grab a bag.

9:05 Wife in next contraction at open door to car in driveway.

9:06 In the car and we are off.

9:08 140km/h on the freeway another contraction

9:10 Hit outskirts of Geelong another contraction.

9:12 Norlane - contraction and another bloody set of traffic lights. getting pretty ancy.

Pulled into the back of the hospital in Geelong, hesitated for a second before taking the reserved parking spot directly outside the door reserved for "On Call Obstetrician"
Opened the door and stepped out of my car, A black ML350 Merc pulled up behind me, the driver wound down his window and said "thats my spot you can't park there mate"
I looked at him and gestured back to the car behind me and said "She's 1 Minute apart mate"
He looked at me dumbfounded for about 2 seconds then said "fair enough, you park there" No brainer really! lol

Run in and grab a wheel chair, came back to the car and the Obstetrician had parked and was helping Naomi out of the car.

In through the Hospital doors and straight into the ward.

into the room, on the bed

9:30 PUSH!!!!!!

9:34 Amelia Grace Thornton was born 9lb/2oz WOW!

don't ya just love it when they come quickly!!!!???????? fantastic stuff, a big congrats goes out to you, your missus and family........................ blimey just noticed the weight - she's not little is she!!!! lol

yeah she was cooked alright. Zach was 8:11, and i was 8:15 so she beats us both at 9:2. As long as she looks like her mum everyones a winner

hahahaha a right bunch or porka babies!!!!!!! lmao.................... I can't say nowt, I was 9lb 12oz, my first was only 4lb 3 (8 weeks early), 2nd was just under 8lb (2 weeks early)
