Must have started the Patrol a dozen times or more yesterday. Started straight away every time with no codes coming up.
In some of the research I have done the pump has been replaced but it has not solved the problem & I don`t want to have to spend that sort of money for nothing.
Some other possible causes that others have chased have been a faulty Cam Sensor, low voltage to the pump or other sensors caused by a faulty starter solenoid.
Have also read that it will throw a code if the engine is cranked for more than 5 seconds without firing up.
The trouble is none of the other sources of info have come back with a definite fix.
Did read that it is possible to have the circuit board on the pump replaced, so that might be an option but I will start by checking/replacing the Cam sensor first & go from there.
