Update to the fuel and starting problem.
Thanks MudRunnerTD, your suggestions helped us to nail down the fault. Initial diagnosis indicated a fuel pump fault and that the pump would need replacing (as you suggested). However, following your comments, I pushed to have the team look further. They eventually decided that the common rail relief pressure valve was faulty. It has now been replaced and the problem seems to have gone away (cross fingers...). MudRunnerTD, you saved me over $1000. Thank you.
Does anyone experienced this problem? It has been suggested that this is not uncommon on the common rail ZD30 engines?
