I bought one of the magnetic head sticks with the straight extendable arm and also one with the bendy stuff and as @MB has said, the V8 seems to have a huge appetite for anything you are trying to install - all ends up under the Octopus. I have recovered everything to date, except stainless. For that, provided I can se it, I have a bendy stick with the push out prong grabs - they open up to about a 20mm mouth with 4 arms, perfect device. had it for 6 yrs, used it once! - but the bit I dropped was a 'one only' and it wasn't an option to simply turn around and get another part from the bench. I would take a photo but it needs 2 hands to operate, and have not eaten enough chicken to grow a third.
Like this one only has the bendy dody and its about 600mm long
