Not only is the gear to replace faulty stuff, with custom pulley and pump, but the replacement clutch is there as well. I am sure it will turn up, but just not in time for me to get the barge back on the road. The good bit of news however is my neighbour the panelbeater is doing a perfecto job on the new bonnet, so it is looking close to a factory look

not today but yesterday
done for 96 in an 80 zone, double demerit weekend, first speeding fine since my only speeding fine at 17 years old in my old V8
On the plus side, Lucky I didn't get breath tested cause I just finished a bottle of bourbon and had 20 cones and dropped 20 trips 2 hrs before driving, but lucky didn't get tested for any of that![]()

The poor church is under attack from termites!!!
Luckily caught the little buggers early enough, they ate through the skin of one of the posts and up through the gable but luckily caught them now and sorted it out!!!

Just in the nick of time old mate, well done!
I always thought that damage came from Plassy grinding poles and swinging from your rafters though?

Back to cold Melbourne and reality. Ugh! Had a fecking great time in the NT though!
Also just got a call from the draftsman. The council won't approve us for the retaining wall we want to put up as its covering the easement. We need to set it back off the boundary by 2 metres, which makes it pretty much no point in doing the wall now. Not sure what to do here now. Looks like we have to think of a different way.
Bugger mate that sux. She's pretty cold here today has been pretty nice but. .
