Wondering what could cause this carbon build-up and whether that could have contributed? Other than that it doesn't look like any contamination.
When I originally put the 12mm pump on I drove it untuned for a couple hundred km unknowingly nearly 900nm torque, I wonder if I bent a rod then and it has finally grabbed?
