As I said there are many variables. You could have got 5km up the road or 5000km. It could have been the tiny amount but you had it parked up a while to do your diffs. So a slow leak could have been enough that once you started it you bent it a little. Once its bent it will keep bending. Throw some load on it and it bends fsr enough to grab the the bore and snap. Then just breaks shit.

Yeah okay. I guess we will find out when we do the tear down. Should get the car home next Saturday so will start on it then.

Got the car home yesterday afternoon, we had stuff to do this morning but I did get a couple of hours work in on it this arvo.









I am just going to plug along for an hour or so after work each day and hopefully it will be ready to pull out this weekend. Then I will start stripping it down and cleaning the parts we are going to reuse.
