You could go 305's slightly bigger than 33s but as they say 2" max and 285s or 305s would be your max,
put a Pro locker in the front leave the LSD in the back and youll nearly be unstopable, that will get you most places IMO

04 ST 3lt auto, not enough Mods to keep me happy, but getting there
Agree with TD above mate, our family stockish wagon gets up some fairly gnarly stuff too on 33’s. Best rear end LSD stock setups of same class ever made IMHO too!
My old leaf sprung ute although had the super sized pumpkin H260 diff and did require 35’s to clear minor track ruts out bush.
The H260’s were designed for lugging sizeable loads onroad so we can’t blame Nissan for dat ;-)
EDIT: Spend some fair coin on a decent winch mate and when in doubt, winch your beast out!

Ive gone from 35's back to 33's. Still does everything. I have the H260 rear diff too, big and strong, but a little too big. I am always having issues with getting hung up in ruts. One day I will get the diff pumkins shaved to overcome this issue.
For the record too, 305's are the same diameter of a 285. A 305 are the same as the old 33" x 12.5", the 285 is just a slightly narrower variant of the 305.

Only my opinion Mr Mark but reckon you’d be better off swapping a H230 into it and selling the H260 sort after coily wagon setup for better back coin?
Worries me a little bit this diff shaving on daily trucks, comp yes, but too much could go wrong if done incorrectly on a great family truck mates!

Any chance of a side on pic of the GQ beast @Ben-e-boy mate?
Only ever seen wicked videos of it taming our high country hardest climbs!
GU utes from a distance seem to hide taller rubber pretty well too.
