While you're doing nothing, master mod. Any chance u can look up the coolant I need for a GU. Not the amount just what sort. PLEASE !! My book doesn't tell me squat. Other than it shouldn't have alcohol in it !! I wouldn't share anyways.

You don't have to use the factory coolant. Any anti freeze anti boil will do the job as thay have corrosion inhibitors in them or just a corrosion inhibitor based coolant will be fine. Most all work in both petrol & diesel engines but always read the directions on the bottle to be sure.

& BTW what give you the idea I just sit around all day doing nothing?????

Go into any Motor Parts place and ask for that and I am pretty sure that they will no (Burson's etc)

Thx guys. Judged checked bottles i bought They say, 'contains NO ethylene glycol' found another Nulon one should do the trick.

As Bob said go an ask at a parts store but keep in mind the Manuals are based on what was around 20+ years ago & there are other products out there now that will do the same job if not better that don't contain ethylene glycol in them.

fair enough................ Your lucky I have to drive 40ks but thats the price you play for getting the hell away from the city I guess.
